Through A Lens Darkly

Through a Lens Darkly: Black Photographers and the Emergence of a People is a two-hour documentary film and multimedia project that explores the ways black communities have learned to use the medium of photography to construct political, aesthetic and cultural representations of themselves and their world.

I found this to be quite interesting and wanted to share. These are just snippets of the documentary. Enjoy.

      Yes, there is quite a few that have never been heard of or mentioned much which is a real pity. But at least we can still find inspiration stemming from our own backyard! We just have to search a little harder for it. 🙂
