Many times over I have been trying to connect with others in order to work on some creative ideas for my art exhibit that I am presently working on. It seems as though it is becoming more and more difficult, (not sure why).
Even though it has been difficult, I was very lucky to have connected with Peter Grogono . I met with Peter in the studio about one month ago. As I was prepping the camera with film, we sat for a little and I explained to him the concept and meaning behind the images we were about to take hold of.
Peter was a joy to work with. Humble, patient and very much in the moment, it doesn’t get any better than that. Thank you Peter!
It is so important the people understand that when you are photographing with old vintage cameras, the pace is much slower and the results take longer to finalize especially when working in the darkroom to produce the final selections. Is it worth it? Oh yes it is!
