On April 23rd, 2017, I received an interesting email on Instagram from a “Canadian literary and visual arts magazine” and was feeling quite honored! I have not been on Instagram for very long. I joined Instagram in December of last year so I guess you can understand the excitement I had felt. I mean I have been struggling for a very long time with trying to find the “right audience”, and Facebook, which was my main active social media platform, has […]

Coming into a new field of dreams, a new output and new frame of mind with a focus on my own true objectives. Why do I enjoy photographing people when the opportunity sets itself before me? I love emotion. Emotions are powerful and meaningful and they remind me of our own human reality. Fear, happiness, anger, joy, surprise, strength, weakness, pain, sadness, excitement and all emotions in between..they are beautiful, they are real. They are all part of what defines […]
I have posted this project before … I am posting this again! In 2014 I had the idea of starting a project with people who were following my personal blog. “The telephone Tag Project” Just as in the game telephone tag, a word or phrase gets passed on from one person to the next but in this case it will be a photograph created by you. The many twists and turns and ups downs I have experienced in this journey of creative expression has made me stronger and wanting more. Those disappointments have gotten me bold, careless, isolated, balanced and creatively in tune. I’m loving every minute of it.
I have developed a mind that is ruthless, ambitious and more determined than ever. Finally seeing a direction and letting go of so many things that have kept my mind in circles. (6 minute exposure)
The end of Integration. The birth of disengagement. As of March 1st, 2017, I have started a new era. No more begging or pleading, wishing, waiting or hoping to create work. One on One Art has taken a complete turn solely into the world of self portraiture. New work in progress, with nothing to stand in my way. Pinhole Self-Portraits Series in progress.
